Guide to Exploring Santa Barbara

This past weekend I went to Santa Barbara to support my friend Melanie in her millionth half marathon. It was a very relaxing weekend- we went to the movies, ate SO much good food and shopped until our hearts were content (well, mainly me since I hadn’t gone shopping in ages…). If you are ever in Santa Barbara, you need to make sure to hit the ever so famous State Street, where there are shops and restaurants galore. For a full day of shopping, I wanted to wear something that could transition from day to night in SB, which is difficult since it is hot during the day but can get really cold really quick when the sun goes down. I paired my favorite fall booties with a long sweater. Im loving longer sweaters, jackets, and coats nowadays…

What I’m Wearing:
Skinny Jeans: GAP
Sweater: Thrifted, similar at Urban Outfitters
Jewelry: Rocksbox
High-neck Jersey Top: H&M
Booties: Lucky, similar here

If you make it to State Street, I highly recommend the following locations, where we went this weekend:

Best place to shop on State St: Dear Diary, super trendy looks at the same price point as H&M!

Best place for tapas on State St: Sama Sama, I have to pick a category for food on State St. since there are so many options! If you are in the mood for a decent happy hour and some interesting Indonesian fusion choices on the menu, this place is for you.

Best place to explore on State St: Santa Barbara Public Market, it has everything I love- local bakeries selling goods, fresh produce, really good grab-and-go meals, cute scenery… It’s worth a quick trip to explore.

Hope you all enjoyed this post! More to come soon.

Love,
BB xoxo
