Embroidery is not just for floral patterns these days. One of the coolest trends I’m seeing is embroidered sayings on everything from T-shirts to jeans to denim jackets. I’m all about the details of whatever I wear, I think they make all the difference, so naturally I was on board with this trend. One of the cutest embroidered sayings that I’ve seen so far is on this T-shirt from Honey Coast USA. The embroidery says “Ok, but first cuddle.” I’m pretty sure this is a spinoff of the popular saying, “Ok, but first coffee,” coined by Alfred Coffee. Either way, it’s totally cute and I’m in love with the saying (and Alfred Coffee).
What’s even cooler is that Honey Coast gives back. As you all should know by now, I work full time alongside running my blog, at ONEHOPE Wine, where each bottle gives back a quantifiable amount to a different non-profit. Honey Coast has the same sort of business model, where every t-shirt sold gives a meal to the homeless. I absolutely support brands that are able to give back, and I do think this is the way of the future. You can read more about their mission here.
If you would like to try the embroidered saying trend, here are some options for inspiration:
1. T-shirt- This is the easiest piece to try the trend with. It adds a little umph to a regular T-shirt and brings any casual outfit up a notch. Honey Coast has some great options.
2. Jeans- The most memorable jeans I’ve seen so far are these customizable embroidered jeans from REVOLVE. You can literally write whatever you want to almost anywhere on the jeans in pretty red stitching. So cool.
3. Jacket- For some reason, sayings on the back of jackets will always remind me of Grease. It’s one of my all-time favorite movies. Nowadays you don’t have to be in a clique to have a statement on your jacket, you can just wear whatever you like! I am in love with this one from Lucky Brand.
Happy Monday lovelies!
