Easy Work Wear: Karen Klein

casual karen klein outfit

I mentioned previously that I no longer have to wear business casual clothes to work since starting my new job. While I don’t have to wear pencil skirts or button downs every day, I definitely still want to look professional. It’s really hard to find the perfect mix of professional and every day clothing, especially when you live in a climate where you want to wear shorts and a crop top almost every day, but I’ve found a brand that does exactly that: Karen Klein. Based out of San Francisco, this brand embodies casual, creative-chic (if that’s not a style, I just made it one). The clothes are very high quality, and can be worn for work and for everyday purposes.

I chose to pair this wrap dress with a longer-sleeve shirt underneath not only because it was cold and rainy out that morning, but also because I wanted to dress the look down a bit. I added these amazing suede block sandals from Franco Sarto to add to the casual look. If you wanted to dress this look up, you could pair it with heels and a blazer for a business setting. That is what I love about pieces like this, so versatile!

Some other great options that can swing from work to casual are this mesh black dress, which you could pair with this long cardigan for a more casual look or with heels and a blazer for a more work inspired outfit. It’s always a challenge finding pieces that work for both work and play, but Karen Klein is a solid option! Their sophisticated pieces are classic and can be added to any wardrobe.

Happy Wednesday, lovelies!

Love,
Lauren
